Hello and welcome back to the weekly WWW!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. You have to answer these three book-related questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?
I have started Calling On Dragons by Patricia C. Wrede. I am 30-ish% into it and I am enjoying it so far. So happy to see so much of Morwen! With this book, I’ll complete my Potion exam for the O.W.L.s Readathon
I have also started Darkwood by  Gabby Hutchinson Crouch. This is a middle-grade fantasy novel, taking place in a medieval-like world where girls can’t do math (amongst many things). But Gretel is too smart, she can’t hide her genius. It has me really intrigued.

What did you recently finish reading?
The last books I have finished are Radioactive Evolution by Richard Hummel (review to come later today), Blackbird vol.1 by Sam Humphries and Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.

What do you think you’ll read next?
I have two other exams to complete for the OWLs Readathon: for Charms I’ll be reading The Great Passage by Shion Miura. I have recently seen the anime adaptation and I’m curious to read this book. I often think of reading more Japanese authors and this is a good time to do so.
For the History of Magic exam, I have to read a book that is more than 10 years old. I have settled on Letters to a Young Poet by R. M. Rilke. It’s been on my TBR for a while and it is short (around 80 pages) so it will also be a fast read. Hopefully.

What books are you reading this week?

Happy Readings,

firma
